SUNDAY SCHOOL

From the Sunday School Director

We have nineteen Sunday School classes that are available to meet the needs of every age group.  A nursery is provided for children from birth to two years of age.  The children’s department has classes by grade groups.  The youth classes are divided into two groups – Youth I for middle school students and Youth II for high school students.

Adult classes are provided for ladies only, men only, and co-ed classes.  Classes are grouped by age groups.  The V.I.P. class is held in a local nursing home while all other classes meet on the church campus.  In the process of selecting a class to visit, we invite you to review the choices of teaching styles, literature, and age ranges.

Come join us for Sunday morning Bible study and fellowship.  Sunday School begins at 9:45 am.  Greeters at the entrances will direct you to the class of your choice.

We look forward to seeing you in Sunday School.

Ed Vaughn,
Sunday School Director

Sunday School During the “40 Days of Prayer”

One of the key components of our “40 Days of Prayer” will be the opportunity to explore, learn, and practice prayer in the small groups of our Sunday School classes. Our classes will be studying two chapters each week from Richard Foster’s book, Prayer: Finding the heart’s true home. Each chapter presents a different kind of prayer. Each week, one prayer will be the primary prayer theme for the 40 Days Week and the other prayer will be a related kind of prayer. These groups will be opportunities for us to share what we are learning and experiencing in prayer each week.

If you are not part of a Sunday School class, or have not made Sunday School a priority in your week, this will be a great time to get connected. Greeters will be available each Sunday at the Sunday School Welcome Center (Family Ministry Center – first floor) 9:30 – 10:00 am.
